Is This Person a Conservative or Republican?
"An appointed Coeur d'Alene City Council member, Dan Sheckler, helped vote in a Democrat anti-ICE protester into CDA's appointed library board. Mr. Sheckler is also a precinct committeeman in the KCRCC, that's the Official Republican party in Kootenai County." Can one say they are a conservative or a republican when they vote to appoint someone like this to the CDA library board? https://rumble.com/v7amfz0-dan-sheckler-votes-for-democrat-anti-ice-protester-into-cda-government

Pro Abortion is not Republican Values
If a person has gone around collecting signatures for the initiative to make abortion up to birth legal in Idaho, would you say they are most likely to be a Republican or a Democrat? I am asking because there is a person in Kootenai County that is running for Republican Precinct person and believes in abortion. Has this person read the Idaho GOP party platform? Did NIR know this when they endorsed this person? I don't think one needs to agree with the whole party platform but

Lakeland School District and Idaho Open Meeting Law
Sharing this from a local FB group: "The recent criticism directed at our local school board regarding personnel decisions reveals a significant misunderstanding of the legal constraints placed upon public officials. While emotions are high, it is vital to distinguish between a board’s "unwillingness" to act and their "legal inability" to speak. Unlike private businesses, school districts do not operate under simple "at-will" employment. Idaho state statutes and federal due p

Voting Matters & Voting Conservative Matters Even More
Your local Community Library Network board of trustees has been hard at work stewarding the millions in funds we entrust them with and crafting wise policies. Getting a conservative majority elected onto that board in 2023 and retaining that majority in 2025 has made a huge difference. Post Falls City Council Appointment
The Post Falls City Council will be recording and live streaming the interview of the candidate to take Randy Westlund's spot on the Council. The deliberation of the city council before the confirmation vote will also be recorded. The interview and deliberation being public has never happened before, as far as I can remember. State law says the mayor nominates and the council votes to confirm or not confirm. Keep in mind that Westlund is being sworn in as Mayor at this meetin

Hayden Law Enforcement Meeting
Wow, Hayden City Councilman Roetter didn't want to abide by the set time for public comment. Quite a bit of what he said was half truths or inaccurate. Then Roetter goes on to be rude in public to Councilwoman White yet again. No attempt to resolve the issue with the quorum privately from what I can tell. Eight minutes into the video there is a discussion about hiring a consultant to figure out how Hayden can have its own police force in the future. Why is a consultant needed
