Taxpayer Contributions to the Kootenai County Justice Fund
During the discussion between Hayden City Councilman Roetter and the Kootenai County Commissioners, Commissioner Mattare mentioned the County Justice Fund. He has a document that breaks down how much each city and unincorporated county areas taxes contribute to the Justice Fund. Here is the document that I got my screenshots from.

Kootenai County Justice Fund
There was a discussion of a Justice Fund at the Kooteani County Commissioners Meeting today. The County Clerk directed me to a document that explains what the Justice Fund is. "Every property owner in Kootenai County pays a portion of their property tax to Kootenai County. Part of that property tax goes to Kootenai County’s Justice Fund. He also stated that this case isn't about politics. 🤣 He further stated that he d

Law Enforcement Should Know the Legal Powers of the County Sheriff
Who is the detective/investigator who was involved with charges regarding the February town hall event where a person was removed by the sheriff? It looks like it was former CDA police office Hailey, who is now the appointed police chief of Rathdrum PD, and the soon to retire CDA Police Chief White. Is it reasonable for me to expect a police officer to be able to understand the difference between the powers of the County Sheriff and his jurisdiction? Here is a link to Idaho C
