DHW Press Release on preventing fraud, waste, and abuse in Idaho Child Care Program
" In response to national interest in child care program integrity, the Department of Health and Welfare has been working closely with Gov. Brad Little to take additional steps to conduct heightened reviews of child care subsidies that were previously disbursed. The department has been actively redirecting staff since late December to scale up resources to continue to support these reviews and necessary actions, including provider termination when appropriate. DOJ Looking at Idaho Vote Rolls
Thank you to Eye on Elections for making me aware of this. Apparently, "ID-34-433 (aka HB 339), allows for mass data collection on Idaho voters, and also allows the SOS to arbitrarily share this data with any "states or groups of states" or private NGOs that he choses to, as long as it is intended for "voter integrity." This statute is a blank check to collect and share voter Data, and could be used as a basis for digital ID. But the SOS is using the code as an excuse to NOT

Idaho Child Care
"The Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP)provides assistance to low income families to help pay child care costs. The purpose of the program is to support families working toward or maintaining employment." Is this the proper role of government? On one hand I agree that helping low income people get employment is a good thing. On the other hand it looks like the government is subsidizing private industry. What are your thoughts on this?

Nov. Hearing re: Security at KCRCC Town Hall
I attended the 11/24/25 hearing regarding the KCRCC Town Hall were a disruptive woman was removed and the security guards involved were charged with misdeamoners. All of the charges have been dismissed against all the security guards with one exception. There were 4 lawyers representing various defendants, and one attorney representing the city of CDA. Here is a summary of notes/observations from that day. The courtroom the hearing was held in was small. It was packed with lo

Hayden Law Enforcement Meeting
Wow, Hayden City Councilman Roetter didn't want to abide by the set time for public comment. Quite a bit of what he said was half truths or inaccurate. Then Roetter goes on to be rude in public to Councilwoman White yet again. No attempt to resolve the issue with the quorum privately from what I can tell. Eight minutes into the video there is a discussion about hiring a consultant to figure out how Hayden can have its own police force in the future. Why is a consultant needed

Pray For Both Sides
Around Nov 20th there were a series of posts by an X account for Danielle Van Noy. https://x.com/Danielle_VanNoy/status/1991456503795163618 A few days later Paul Van Noy posted a response. https://www.facebook.com/CandlelightChristianFellowship The thing that gives me pause is who was sharing it around at first. Some of the people/pages are either anonymous accounts or are pages that tend towards gossip. I suggest that you pray after reading both links. I encourage you to pra
