Cassia County Residents Who Signed the Abortion Initiative
If you sign a petition to get an initiative on the ballot in Idaho, it is public record. I requested and received the list of Cassia County registered voters that signed the Idaho Reproductive Freedom And Privacy Act Initiative. Which will be Prop One on the November ballot. The first name, last name, party affiliation, and city they live in is on the spreadsheet.
The title is misleading in my opinion . Parents not knowning that a minor had an abortion is not a privacy issue, that is eroding parental rights. Reproductive Freedom is also misleading. The baby is a separate person from the mom, aborting it is not supporting freedom.
The signers in Cassia County reside mostly in Burley - 56, Albion - 4, and Oakley -3.
The political party of the signers in Cassia County were as follows: Democrats - 12. Republican - 36. Unaffiliated - 18. In my opinion the 36 Republicans are highly likely to be rinos.
