Jefferson County Residents Who Signed the Abortion Initiative
If you sign a petition to get an initiative on the ballot in Idaho, it is public record. I requested and received the list of Jefferson County registered voters that signed the Idaho Reproductive Freedom And Privacy Act Initiative. Which will be Prop One on the November ballot. The first name and last name is on the spreadsheet.
The title is misleading in my opinion . Parents not knowing that a minor had an abortion is not a privacy issue, that is eroding parental rights. Reproductive Freedom is also misleading. The baby is a separate person from the mom, aborting it is not supporting freedom.
I did not receive the political party or the town of residence with my public records request.
