Thank you to KM for pointing out my error in reading the stats.
My original post below mentions the statewide percentage proficient in reading and math.
For Lakeland SD specifically the ISAT Percentage Proficient in English is 57.2%, and 41.1% for math. Better than the statewide average, but I would want a minimum of 70%, wouldn't you?

Here are stats on the Lakeland School District in terms of Reading and Math Proficiencies. 37% of 4th graders and 8th graders in the district are proficient in reading. 43% of 4th graders and 37% of 8th graders are proficient in math.
Will the Lakeland School District present a levy that actually puts money towards areas that will improve reading and math proficiency?
