Hayden Public Records Request Results

Here are the results of a public records request for the emails between Hayden Mayor Davis and Hayden City Councilwoman White for the month of February 2025. White requested for the Public Safety Commission to be video recorded on 2/12 and 2/26. Davis responds.

There is a email conversation about correcting wording on city council meeting minutes between Councilwoman White and the Hayden City Clerk with the City Manager CC'd in.

The topic was if a mayor can break a tie vote by the city council.

At some point Mayor Davis, the other city council members and the lawyer for the city are brought into the conversation. Not sure why that was necessary.

Two things to notice:

1) White is communicating with Davis. This contradicts some letters to the editor and social media posts going around.

2) Davis asked White to "consider the context of words we use during the meeting. Concepts like freedom and transparency…. Why would the mayor want to limit those words?
