The Coeur d'Alene City Council, along with the mayor determines who is on the CDA library board. Here is a book to ask them about.
Fade by Lisa McMann. This book glorifies grooming - a teacher seduces a student who is a minor. There are multiple descriptions of rape that are treated like it is no big deal.
Stories of surviving grooming and surviving rape would be a great thing for the CDA Library to have. This book is not one of them.
Your vote for Coeur d'Alene city council matters. Be a part of making a change on who is a CDA library trustee in the future.
