Senate Bill 1288 amends existing law to "permit qualified Chiropratic physicians to evaluate and authorize return to play for youth athletes suspected of having sustained a concussion during school athletic activities."
If I am reading the bill correctly, any medical person with the proper training and/or certifications will be able to manage youth concussions. The critics of the bill are places like St. Luke's Hospital in southern Idaho.
