Taxpayer Money to Daycares in 83858

Rathdrum - I made a spreadsheet of all the license daycares in 83858 (Rathdrum), using the Transparent Idaho webpage and the Idaho Child Care Check webpage.

According to the records from 2020 to 2024 - $2,717,308.34 in Trustee and Benefit Payments from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare were paid out. Out of the 20 daycares, 11 of them did not take any taxpayer money from 2020 to 2024. (55%)

This amount does include the Lakeland Joint School District No. 272.

I decided to not email the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare or the Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador. Everything seemed reasonable by my calculations.

As with my previous post on Post Falls and CDA daycares, keep in mind that there is no way to filter for daycares that care for disabled children, nor can I see how many children each daycare has. Also, the Idaho Child Care Check webpage shows the last date of inspection and if there are any violations.
