NIC Insurance Coverage

Is insurance coverage for taxpayer funded entities affected by politics? It sure seems like that is the case when you look at North Idaho College.

In 2022, Idaho Counties Risk Management Program (ICRMP) refused to provide insurance coverage for North Idaho College. According to statements made at the September NIC Board of Trustee meeting, ICRMP will be covering NIC insurance wise again. Their coverage looks like it is based on if they like the elected trustees or not... (I hope I'm wrong.)
