Ask the candidates, if they are incumbents, if they voted for a mask mandate. For non-incumbents ask them if they would vote for or against a mask mandate. Mayors, city council members, and school board trustees had to vote on those decisions in 2020.
For school board trustees consider asking an additional question. Find out where they stand on the issue of gender regarding bathrooms/locker room use.
