The director of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is a Governor appointed position. Dir. Jeppesen was pushing for mandates in 2020. Now it appears that he may have misappropriated over $30 million. It is good that he is retiring in my opinion.
His replacement is the Director of the Department of Insurance. No conflict of interest there...(sarcasm intended)
