This video starts with Bonner County Commissioner Bradshaw reading a county ordinance at the beginning of the 7/11/23 commissioner business meeting. Bradshaw states that county ordinance says that the board chair has the ability to allow or not allow public comment. He then recesses the meeting for an hour. This is the second meeting that Bradshaw has done this at.
What happened to the transparency and accountability that Bradshaw talked about during his governor and commissioner campaigns?
Commissioner Williams pointed out that the public comment is actually before the agenda, so she believes that Bradshaw does not have the right to allow or not allow public comment.
Commissioner Omodt said that he will be following the ordinance and coming back after the recess that Bradshaw called.
I suggest that we all email Commissioners Bradshaw and Omodt about their lack of accountability and transparency.
