CDA SD Equity Framework Part 7

"How can we best work toward the kind of inclusivity that eliminates acute focus on special features..." - Stop focusing on differences, make sure that you are focusing on similarities.


Why is the CDA SD so concerned about the social and emotional needs of the students? Do they put academics first?

The "Tier 2 and Tier 3" show that there is still need to classify students whose needs are not met by the "Universal Design for Learning". Guess it's not so universal after all.


"What practices and beliefs do we share that are resulting in the success of few students, some students, all students?"

Gosh, sticking to teaching the mastery of the basics would be a good start. Oh wait, is that a limiting belief?
